F.A.Q.
Session Questions
- What should I wear and bring for wardrobe?
- Girls: Solid colors, no busy prints or patterns. Try one outfit as casual with jeans and a couple shirt changes, and another outfit as business casual with a dress, skirt, or dress pants. Layers such as nice sweaters/sweatshirts work well.
Guys: Have one casual outfit with jeans, a favorite tee and a nice shirt, and one semi-formal outfit with dress pants or khakis and dress shirt. Also, dark and light socks depending on your outfits.
- How many times can I change my wardrobe?
- As many times as you would like. Keep in mind that the more time you take changing, the less time you have in front of the camera. It’s smart to wear a simple white shirt or cami underneath, so you can easily change tops in public.
- Can I bring my tennis racket / soccer ball / band instrument?
- Yes! Extracurricular props are encouraged. It is a great way for you to show off your high school accomplishments.
- Where are the In Studio and Outdoor locations?
- They are located at my home. Directions will be given when an appointment is made. The Studio is indoors and consists of a white backdrop and floor with a stool for both standing and sitting portraits. The Outdoor location consists of the many trees and a seasonal garden around the house providing a variety of locations.
- What if it’s raining the day of my Session?
- You have an option of keeping the appointment for indoor portraits as scheduled, and rescheduling the time outdoors to another day. Or you may reschedule the whole session for another day.
- Do I have to choose a Package?
- No. You may choose any combination of options you like to whatever suits you best. The Package options are just a selection of popular choices.
- When and how do I pay?
- The Session or Package cost is due on the day of your session. Payment is accepted in cash or check paid to Ellen Lundgren. Your prints may be purchased similarly by cash or check and mailed in to the address found on your Bill which is sent after I have received your Order Form.
Gallery Questions
- How does the Online Viewing Gallery work?
- You’re Online Viewing Gallery is for you to review your images and choose the ones you would like to print via the Order Form. This is a great way to show your photos to extended family and have them order prints as well.
- Why do I have to pay extra for a 30 Day Online Gallery Extension?
- It costs money and time to create, run, and maintain your gallery space. But if you would like to order more prints after your original 90 day session is up, this is a great opportunity if you need a few more prints for Christmas gifts or Graduation.
- Why would I want a DVD?
- The DVD is for people who want to print the photos off themselves, or who want to post their photos online, such as on Facebook or a personal site. You will receive your retouched images and re-print rights so you can make as many of your own prints as you would like.
- Why are my images watermarked?
- A watermark (the logo printed over the image) is to protect the photographer’s copyrights. The proofing images, in your online gallery or proof book, are not for printing or sharing in any way. Doing so is copyright infringement and it is against the law.
